The Opportunity
Our Perth Central Transport branch is seeking an experience people leader with strong compliance mindset to join their high performing Perth Parking team.
Working together with the Manger Perth Central Transport, you will be responsible for the development of innovative and bespoke solutions to improve existing systems and processes relating to Perth Parking activities in alignment with relevant legislation and best practice. Improvements to these systems and processes will allow the area to provide better information and outcomes for its clients and build on its already very high compliance rate, ultimately facilitating a sustainable transport network for the Western Australian community.
As the Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a small team of Compliance Officers and to provide innovative and contemporary strategies and practices to continue positive improvement of parking compliance standards and the provision of information and guidance to a variety of stakeholders. You will be responsible for the coordination and undertaking of the compliance activities to ensure compliance with the relevant acts, legislation, and policies in the Perth Parking Management Area and contribute to the strategic direction of the team.

There is currently 1 x fixed term available for immediate filling for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s) or permanency.
The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first appointment.
About you
- Well-developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain communication networks with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience leading and coordinating a team, including workload management, to deliver efficient business outcomes.
- Experience in undertaking compliance audits within a regulatory environment.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation.
