About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team at Bamagau Kazil Torres Strait Islanders Corporation' in Bamaga, Queensland. As a full-time Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and care to children in our early learning centre by leading the delivery of kindergarten programs. This opportunity is open to graduate teachers.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences to individual needs

Maintaining a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment

Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and wellbeing

Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practices

Adhering to all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education - ACECQA Qualification

Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills

Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive early childhood education

Valid Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
