About the role

My Kids Academy Mackay is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in Mackay, Queensland. This fulltime role will see you playing a crucial part in shaping the futures of our youngest learners, from preschool to early primary years. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, play-based learning programs that foster the social, emotional, and academic development of each child in your care.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement a high-quality, play-based learning curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Curriculum

Provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports each child's individual needs and interests

Observe and document children's progress, using this information to inform your teaching practice

Build strong, collaborative relationships with families to ensure continuity of care and learning

Contribute to the overall operation of the centre, participating in team meetings and professional development

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education

Minimum 1 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher or Lead Educator

Excellent understanding of child development and the ability to cater to the unique needs of each child

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
