Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CIJ) software developer - 12 month Daily Rate

This role can be done remotely, though if you are in NSW it would be ideal if you could visit the office 1-2 times per month.

This is a long term contract opportunity with a company who has recently transitioned to Microsoft Dynamics 365, implementing CE, CIJ, and F&O modules to enhance its business operations. With a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and AI implementation, the organization is expanding its in-house technical team to support the next phase of its digital transformation.

The Role We are looking for a CIJ Hands-On Software Developer with expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys (CIJ) and Customer Engagement (CE). This role requires a technical expert who can design and develop customer journeys, segment data, and integrate marketing automation using D365 and Power Platform tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, developing, and troubleshooting CIJ within D365 while ensuring seamless data interaction between marketing journeys and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop customer journeys and segments using D365 Customer Insights - Journeys (CIJ).
• Integrate customer data into marketing workflows and enable targeted communications.
• Develop and configure Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Build and deploy Azure Functions and Logic Apps for marketing automation and data integration.
• Ensure seamless integration between CE data and marketing functionalities using Dataverse and plugin development.
• Troubleshoot data and system issues related to marketing automation and provide technical support for CIJ.
• Work within an Agile delivery framework, participating in sprint planning and ceremonies.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

• Experience in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys (CIJ) and Customer Engagement (CE).
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Experience in Azure Functions and Logic Apps development to support marketing automation.
• Proficiency in plugin development and data integration between CE and marketing modules.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, working across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with other marketing automation tools (e.g., older versions of D365 Marketing, CJ, CJO) is acceptable if CIJ-specific experience is unavailable.
