PROPERTY ASSISTANT ROLE
Realmark Commercial Pilbara is a unique and dynamic business with offices in South Hedland, Newman, and Karratha. We are now seeking a Property Assistant to work in our South Hedland office providing assistance to our Property Management and Leasing Teams for our Residential and Commercial portfolios. Our Team is growing and this is a new role.
Please ensure you read and understand the requirements of this role before applying. You must be based in Port Hedland and have your own accommodation. We do not provide relocation or employee housing. You must also have Permanent Residency with the rights to work in Australia. This is not a temporary or casual role, we are looking for a permanent member for our team.
About the role
As a Property Assistant at Realmark Commercial Pilbara, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Real Estate Agency. This is full-time position is based in our South Hedland office. You will be working alongside two other team members in our South Hedland Office as well as other Remote staff in Newman, Karratha and Perth. The hours would be 830am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing
Conducting Ingoing and Outgoing Inspections for our Residential and Commercial/Industrial Portfolio as well as Routine Inspections at these properties as and when required.
Providing administrative support to the property management team including general office tasks
Liaising with clients, tenants, and service providers to ensure a high level of customer service
Responsible for the office presentation and organising maintenance of all our offices and properties
Answering telephones and attending to client requests
Performing other duties as required to support the overall operations of the South Hedland office
What we're looking for
Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to liaise with a diverse range of clients
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Experience in a similar administrative or customer service role in the real estate or property management industry would be ideal however someone with a retail/customer service background will also be considered
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to problem-solving and task management
You must have a sense of humor as this is not an easy industry and at times can be stressful
The ability to work in a small team environment
You must be comfortable attending commercial and industrial sites which can at times be challenging due to the environment
You must have
A current West Australian Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
Your own accommodation in Port Hedland as we do not provide Company housing
Permanent Residency and a right to work in Australia
