Exciting Opportunity: Biopharmaceutical Operators Wanted at CSL Seqirus!

CSL Seqirus, a leading name in biopharmaceutical manufacturing renowned for its contributions to rare and serious diseases, influenza vaccines, and iron deficiency and nephrology, is seeking dedicated Operators to join their new state-of-the-art facility in Tullamarine through IPA.

About the Role:

• Facility cleaning to achieve cleanroom standards for manufacturing.
• Write SOPs, conduct risk assessments, and review documents.
• Operate, assemble, and maintain production equipment (e.g., mixers, ultrafiltration units, autoclaves).
• Perform aseptic operations such as sterile filtration and environmental sampling.
• Clean, sterilise, and prepare production equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor process issues and manage inventory.
• Collaborate with engineers, validation, and quality teams.

• Shift Pattern: 38+ hours per week. Start times to vary from 6:30 am to 10:30am 5 day week, days may vary between Mon to Sun.
• Location: Tullamarine
• Work Environment: Aseptic cleanroom standards
• Responsibilities:
• Compensation: Entry-level pay rate of $31.96 per hour plus Superannuation and applicable shift penalties
• Training: 2 weeks of paid comprehensive training provided
• Duration: 3 months

About You:

• Previous experience as an operator in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry ideal
• Science or related experience highly regarded
• Opened to gaining hands on experience in an entry level role
• Adherence to strict procedural and hygiene standards, strong teamwork skills
• Clear and precise handwritting

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Valid Australian work rights with no limitations or restrictions (no Working Holiday or Student VISAS at this stage)
