About the Role

This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing performance and load testing scripts to ensure system stability and efficiency. You will work closely with development and automation testing teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for various applications and systems.
• Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing to assess system performance under different conditions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, analyse results, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance during tests, using appropriate tools to measure response times, throughput, and resource utilisation.
• Prepare detailed test reports, summarising findings and suggesting performance enhancements for the system.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in performance testing, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Strong ability to design and implement performance test scripts, using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of performance monitoring tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret data and identify bottlenecks.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with troubleshooting performance issues across different layers (e.g., application, database, network).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to document test results and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, with a solid understanding of industry best practices in performance testing.

Existing Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
