Are you an experienced Automation Tester with a passion for quality assurance, accessibility and digital transformation?

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a key Commonwealth government department to find a skilled and motivated Automation Tester. Our client plays a pivotal role in advancing Australia’s economy through science, technology and innovation.

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary team in delivering secure, accessible and high-quality ICT solutions across government.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage test plans and strategies, including test case creation and execution using Azure DevOps.
• Conduct automated testing of web-based applications and digital solutions.
• Ensure digital solutions conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Identify, track and resolve defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, Architects and SMEs in a cross-functional, agile environment.
• Support and lead stakeholders through the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and automation frameworks.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in automated testing.
• Proven ability to write, review and execute complex test plans, cases and strategies.
• Experience working productively in agile, cross-functional teams, including remotely distributed teams.
• Sound understanding of WCAG compliance and accessibility testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience testing custom applications built on the Microsoft and Azure tech stack.
• Familiarity with managing test plans and cases through Azure DevOps.
