Financial Accountant / Perth City Centre / Permanent / $120,000 -$125,000 / Progression / Development / Excellent Benefits

A market leading national ASX listed engineering business with sites across Australia are looking to recruit a skilled Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. Continued growth has led to the position being recruited. The main purpose of the Financial Accountant will be to provide accurate management and financial reporting for he company. This is a great opportunity to become part of a business that prides itself in developing & looking after their employees.

Financial Accountant's key duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management reporting
• Preparation and review of monthly end processes including journals
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register and leased assets.
• Preparation of the monthly BAS returns
• Assist with annual and six-month audits
• Assist with the preparation of income tax return.
• Preparation of tax accounting and reporting
• Assist with ATO reviews.
• Annual FBT return preparation and lodgement.
• Review & improve processes

Key skills required:

• Experience of being in a similar role
• Experience of corporate tax & financial reporting
• Proven stakeholder management
• Excellent & confident communication skills
• Confident with systems including excel
