Accountant $51 p.h. + Super | Start ASAP - Based in Blacktown - 1 - 3 months initially

Urgent requirement for an Accountant for a NFP in Sydney - Immediate start.

This genuine temp to perm opportunity will see you working closely with the Finance Manager to help clearing backlogs pertaining to reconciling corporate credit cards, looking at receipts and coding and ensuring GST are entered correctly. Thereafter the role will focus more on day to day accounting.

Key Responsibilities (Initial Focus):

• Reconcile corporate credit cards and prepaid cards (ensure correct coding and GST entries)
  
• Clear backlog of receipts and transactions
  
• Reconcile bonds for leased properties (approx. 40) against Rental Bond Board records
  
• Revenue recognition & grants reconciliation
  
• Bank reconciliations & cash flow management
  
• Prepaid and credit card management
  
• Motor vehicle lease accounting
  
• Accounts receivable & invoicing (less than 10 per month)
  
• Balance sheet reconciliations
  
• Budgeting & audit support
  
• Other ad hoc finance tasks
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Accounting experience with reconciliations, revenue recognition & accruals
  
• Proficiency in financial systems (NetSuite, ProMaster, CommBiz preferred)
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  
• Not-for-profit experience (advantageous but not essential)
