About the Company
A rapidly growing, forward-thinking engineering services firm in Townsville, delivering diverse projects across mining, ports, asset management, road infrastructure, and heavy industry. This agile SME partners with multinational companies and owner-operators, working on greenfield and brownfield projects, including freight inspections and infrastructure upgrades.

The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Lead a team and manage projects ranging from $5K–$400K
• Oversee mechanical analysis, design, and certification of heavy machinery, cranes, concrete pumps, mine conveyor belts, lifting frames, emulsion plants and more
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments
• Ensure project feasibility, mechanical integrity, and safety compliance
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and industry professionals
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical Engineer and be both design and site oriented
• RPEQ and CPEng certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, SpaceGass, AutoPipe, Bluebeam, Strand7
• Strong Structural Engineering knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Full working rights in Australia
• Based in Townsville or open to relocation
