About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organised Payroll and Accounts Payables Officer to join our finance team at our Fullarton office. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and payroll transactions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall efficiency of the finance function.

Key responsibilities include reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices, managing payment schedules, and addressing vendor inquiries. Additionally, this role involves overseeing fortnightly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The Payroll and Accounts Payables Officer will also contribute to month-end financial activities, assist with audits, and support process improvements within the finance department.

Collaboration with internal teams, particularly the manufacturing division, will be essential in implementing structured purchase order systems, developing pricing calculators, and analysing manufacturing cost data. This position requires strong analytical skills, a methodical approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Manage company credit card transactions and perform statement reconciliations.

Prepare and monitor payment schedules, addressing vendor payment inquiries as required.

Process payroll on a fortnightly basis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Reconcile accounts payable and payroll transactions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
