The Role

As an Android Developer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing and evolving mobile applications that are critical to the company’s customer experience. You’ll work on a modern Android codebase with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, implementing new features, improving app performance, and ensuring stability across a broad device landscape.

You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers in a fast-paced Agile environment, using feedback loops and analytics to prioritise and refine features. With millions of users and a strong focus on app excellence, this is a role where you’ll see the impact of your work daily.

About You

You’re a passionate Android Developer who thrives in collaborative teams and enjoys the craft of building elegant, user-friendly mobile experiences. You understand the balance between technical integrity and business needs, and you're always looking for ways to improve apps and processes.

Comfortable in a Linux or Mac environment, you're adaptable, pragmatic, and always up to speed with the latest in Android development.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java.
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK and Android UI frameworks (including Jetpack Compose and traditional Views).
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban).
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative code review processes.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• A passion for user-centric product design and performance optimisation.
• Experience in a cross-functional, product-led team environment.
