About the Opportunity:

By joining On The Spot, you will work closely with a tight-knit group of driven professionals, each passionate about redefining the future of property technology. Your contributions will directly shape our platform’s innovation, while helping to serve and expand our growing network of high-profile clientele.

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient applications within On the Spot’s AI-based platforms.

You will collaborate closely with the CTO, senior leadership, project managers, and junior developers to enhance the company’s technological capabilities and improve user experience. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing and coordinating offshore and contracted developers to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Accountabilities include:

Lead the development and maintenance of web and mobile applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js, typescript and Ionic.

Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, offshore developers & interns.

Conduct code reviews and enforce software development best practices.

Develop and maintain a product and feature roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.

Work closely with project managers to define and deliver technical solutions.

Stay informed about emerging trends in AI and technology, actively researching and recommending innovative solutions to enhance the platform.

Support AI-driven data processing.

Lead end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.

Engage with external technology providers to integrate advanced features.

Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs and technical requirements.

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in full-stack development using MEAN stack.

Experience in Ionic framework for cross-platform mobile app development.

Strong expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in cloud services such as Google Cloud, Firebase, Azure/AWS.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
