The Rug Est is seeking a physically strong and capable Visual Merchandiser / Sales support and delivery person to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is Tuesday to Saturday.

Please only apply if you are physically fit and strong and capable of moving heavy rugs (within safety limits) and have a drivers licence for deliveries and to visit clients.

Experience & requirements:

Current driver’s licence is mandatory due to delivery requirements.

Physical fitness & ability to lift & move product (you will be required to lift and move heavy rugs throughout the day)

A company-paid medical will be conducted prior to commencement

Sale experience desirable

Tuesday to Saturday work week (short day on Saturday)

Full rights to work in Australia - this is a career role not short term

Strong computer skills

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Duties & responsibilities

Visual merchandising duties within the showroom (lifting, hanging, moving) - showroom presentation

Flipping rugs to present of rugs for customers (moving, turning etc)

Deliveries onsite to clients

Provide logistical service support including preparing rugs for deliveries and receiving of rugs

Meeting, Greeting & Welcoming Customers

Showcase and assist in making sales of handcrafted luxury rugs to high-end retail & wholesale customers including interior designers and architects

Assist in the design of custom rugs with clients

Preparation of quotes

Relationship building & follow up with clients on projects

Work from our gallery style showroom & make visits to clients’ homes and commercial premises

Cleaning and maintenance of the showroom

Maintain strict safety standards

Assisting sales team members and clients
