About the role

As a Manufacturing and Transport Scheduler at Finlayson's you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of production and logistics operations across our manufacturing and distribution network. In this full-time position based in Zillmere, Queensland, you will be responsible for optimising our scheduling and planning processes to drive efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain detailed production and transportation schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets

Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics and customer service teams to align schedules and address any issues or disruptions

Analyse production data, order information and transportation constraints to identify opportunities for improvement

Utilise scheduling software and other technology to enhance planning and coordination capabilities

Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reporting to management

Support the continuous improvement of scheduling and planning processes

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a manufacturing or logistics scheduling role, ideally within the production, planning and scheduling industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficient in using scheduling and planning software, such as ERP systems and resource management tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
