About the Position: Our client is now seeking a Family Lawyer with 2–5 years PAE to join their busy Family Law team in Townsville. The successful candidate will manage their own files with autonomy, while working closely with senior lawyers on more complex matters. The role will include:

• Handling a variety of family law matters including parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, and DV
• Attending court appearances, mediations, and client conferences
• Drafting affidavits, consent orders, and legal advice letters
• Providing empathetic yet strategic legal support to clients during difficult periods
• Participating in business development and community engagement initiatives

This is an excellent role for a Family Lawyer who enjoys working closely with clients and making a tangible difference in their lives, while also looking to further their career in a growing practice.

Key Requirements:

• 2–5 years PAE in Family Law (private practice)
• Experience handling a range of family law files including property and parenting matters
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Confidence in managing matters independently and appearing in court
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
