This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect to contribute to major infrastructure projects that support growing communities across the state. You will be directly involved in the strategic planning of the projects beyond a traditional consultancy model.

The Role

In this flexible contract position, you will provide support to the planning and design of critical infrastructure projects. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that designs align with regulatory standards, sustainability goals, and modern user needs.

• Provide expert design advice to support project scoping and planning activities.
• Review, assess, and recommend concept designs and master plans.
• Ensure projects meet sustainability, accessibility, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with project teams, planners, and key stakeholders to integrate architectural considerations into infrastructure planning.
• Engage with various stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and best practices.
• Identify and manage design risks to maintain project integrity.

About You

• Registered Architect (Queensland)
• Experience in public sector, government, education or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Ability to work flexibly in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Knowledge of Queensland Government infrastructure policies (desirable)
