Dear Florence (Patisserie): a destination to indulge in premium cakes, desserts, and bespoke hampers, crafted with elegance and creativity.

Duties and Responsibilies:

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival

Manage the waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimates

Use the venue’s reservation system to check bookings and update guest details

Escort guests to their tables and thank them upon departure

Engage in friendly, natural conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere

Assist with beverage refills and support general front-of-house cleanliness

Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning menus and monitoring restroom tidiness

Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries in a helpful, professional manner

Support the broader team during service, including floor operations when required

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a host or similar role, with at least 2 years in similar position

Strong organisational and multitasking skills in high-volume environments

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Familiarity with reservation management systems (e.g., 7rooms)

Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
