We seek passionate chefs/cooks who want to join and grow with us.

These roles are for someone who loves food and great flavours in Japanese cuisine.

You also love to source the best produce of the season and experiment with new combinations of Japanese and other ingredients.

You are open-minded to giving and receiving feedback and keen to help your team grow.

Preferably, you have a minimum of five years of experience in Japanese cuisine for the chef’s position.

Main duties:

Previous experience in a similar or higher quality Japanese restaurant.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Excellent knife skills and ability to handle knives for sashimi and sushi.

Oversee kitchen operations, including training, quality control, food safety, and stock management.

Strong understanding and implementation of sanitation practices.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.

Willing to work shift work, including weekends.

Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.
