About the role

At Redlands Nursery, we are searching for an active enthusiastic Nursery Hand and Lead Picker to join our team in Redland Bay, QLD. As a Nursery Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining our horticulture business and supporting the growth and care of our diverse plant collection. We have full-time positions available in our dispatch/potting team with immediate start available.

What you'll be doing

Assist with the picking and potting of a wide range of plant species

Maintain the health and appearance of plants through watering, weeding, and general nursery duties

Operate nursery equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

Contribute to the preparation and presentation of plants for sale

Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the nursery

What we're looking for

Experience is a must for lead picker position

A genuine passion for plants and good knowledge of plant names

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality plant care

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 25kg

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role

Hard working and self-motivated

Non-smoker preferred

ACDC Licence beneficial
