About the Role:

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and supportive environment? Palm Lake Resort Toowoomba is seeking a dedicated Kitchenhand to join our team!

We are offering a Permanent Part time position with a minimum of 22 hours per week with the opportunity for additional shifts. As a Kitchenhand, you will play a key role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring meals are prepared and served to a high standard for our residents.

Please Note: The successful candidate must be available for the rostered dinning service that is operating on Tuesday to Thursday. All three days are (Split Shifts) across Lunch and Dinner services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with food preparation and meal service

Cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas

Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Supporting the chef and kitchen team as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

A commitment to food safety and hygiene practices

Hold a current Food handling certificate, or willing to obtain;

Current “C” Class drivers licence;
