About the role

Are you passionate about food and hospitality? We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Kitchen Hand to join the team at George Oyster Bay, a renowned Cafe located in the beautiful Oyster Bay, NSW. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our talented chefs and ensuring the smooth running of our bustling kitchen.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and prepping ingredients

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitising equipment and surfaces

Helping to plate and present dishes to our high standards

Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

Supporting the wider kitchen team as needed to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team

The ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the industry
