As a Procurement Business Partner, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, procurement advisory, and supplier management to drive value, compliance, and risk mitigation. Supporting the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will oversee high-risk procurement activities, conduct market research, negotiate contracts, and optimise sourcing time lines while ensuring strong governance.

Description

Lead high-risk procurement activities and provide advisory support on sourcing, contracts, compliance, and supplier management.

Manage supplier relationships in line with the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework.

Support strategic sourcing, ensuring commercial outcomes and procurement efficiency.

Conduct market research to assess supply chain risks, trends, and industry developments.

Provide expert negotiation support and resolve complex contract risks.

Deliver insights through bench marking, spend analysis, and performance tracking.

Profile

Strong procurement experience, ideally in the energy or utilities sector.

Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing procurement risks and compliance.

Ability to provide strategic advisory services and improve procurement efficiency.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
