About the role

• Provide holistic client centred nursing care to hospice guests.
• Assess guests needs, develop care plans, and coordinate daily care within interdisciplinary teams.
• Supporting residents in dealing with issues related to the end stage of life
• Assess and manage symptoms to ensure comfort
• Educate guests and families on disease process, care options, and support services.
• Maintain accurate guest records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Provide a high level of nursing care, including administration of medication.

About you

We are seeking applicants with the following:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Palliative Care and/or pain management experience or qualification
• Effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and an understanding of the process of death and bereavement
• Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance held before commencing
