The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide in-home, person-centred care including clinical assessments, chronic disease management, wound care, medication administration, and emotional support. You'll mentor junior staff, liaise with families and GPs, and play a key role in helping clients remain well, safe and independent.

Shifts are flexible and varied (casual, part-time, or full-time), with 8, 10, or 12-hour durations. Morning, evening and overnight availability is preferred. FIFO nurses may receive up to $80/hr.

Key Duties

Perform holistic nursing assessments and update individual care plans

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with best practice

Escalate concerns and manage clinical risks

Mentor and support PCAs and ENs on shift

Collaborate with allied health, GPs, and families

Maintain clinical documentation and promote safe, respectful care

🔹 About You

Essential

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Proven experience in aged care, community nursing, or chronic disease

Strong clinical judgement and communication skills

Comfortable with digital tools (or open to learning)

Current Police Check

Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

Desirable

Experience with HCP, CHSP or NDIS

Postgrad studies in community, palliative or gerontological nursing

Familiarity with trauma-informed or inclusive care models

Goondiwindi, QLD + surrounding areas (travel between client homes required)

🔹 Salary

$50–$70 per hour + shift allowances
FIFO and regional incentive rates up to $80/hr (base rate) available for the right candidates
