This role is within the team that designs and develops CSQ Quote & Order, a cutting-edge order management and quoting platform. Built using the latest technology, our platform modernizes industries like telecommunications and banking.

About the role

We’re seeking an industry expert who understands the ins-and-outs of quoting complex enterprise business solutions (AKA: B2B CPQ) within the telco industry.

Our ideal candidate has navigated through various telco business segments, mastering quoting, pricing, approval workflows and deal management, and really understands the pain-points both sales-teams and customers face.

If you are already a seasoned product owner or a subject-matter expert looking to step into a new role, at CSG, you’ll use your industry knowledge to design groundbreaking product features that tackle our customers’ toughest challenges.

What you will do:

While your responsibilities will evolve, here’s what you’ll dive into:

Product Roadmap Execution: Harness your industry expertise to transform innovative ideas into impactful features, driving them from concept to completion! You'll craft essential artifacts and use your communication skills to bring complex ideas to life, inspire and guide our design and engineering teams toward success.

Feature Prioritization: Shape the future by defining and prioritising product features and enhancements, drawing from your industry knowledge, market research, customer feedback, stakeholder input, and competitive analysis.

Stakeholder Management: Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment with business and customer goals, and negotiating like a pro.

Customer Feedback and Data Insights: Connect with customers, gather valuable feedback, analyse data-driven insights, and make savvy decisions that fuel product development.

Conduct Product Demos and Foster Continuous Improvement: You'll conduct product demonstrations to highlight value differentiation and collect feedback, ensuring stakeholder alignment. Additionally, you'll drive continuous improvement by identifying enhancements and making data-driven decisions to boost product value.

We’re looking for:

Domain expertise: Someone who is an expert in Telco B2B enterprise quote/deal processes and have worked as a product owner, solution designer, analyst or SME in this domain.

Software package expertise: Someone with direct experience in using and/or designing and/or gathering requirements for CPQ software packages (Salesforce, Dynamics, SAP, etc.).

A curious mind: Someone who’s vibrantly curious, respectful of everyone’s unique talents, and adept at harnessing these strengths throughout the product development journey.

A sense of ownership: A committed individual who takes full responsibility for the product, making informed decisions to drive it to success.

Team spirit: A passionate, empathetic leader who brings teams together, navigating the ups and downs of product management with enthusiasm.

Work from anywhere: CSG has a global policy called "Flexibility First" that allows employees to work from wherever they feel most productive. The Quote & Order team does not maintain a dedicated office space, so your position will be 100% remote with the exception of several in-person workshops during the year (in Bali – see below – and Melbourne).

Twice-yearly workshops in Bali: Twice a year the whole Quote & Order team gets together in Bali, Indonesia for dedicated in-person time including team presentations, hackathon sessions, training and team-building activities.

Paid volunteer days: Everyone at CSG gets two paid days per year to volunteer at a community organisation of your choice.
