About the role

We are seeking a skilled Excavator / Posi Track Combo Operator to join the Litcon Earthworks team. You will be predominantly operating 1.7t - 6t Excavator/Posi Track Combos, however you will also have the opportunity to operate our tippers, rollers and other equipment when required.

With our yard based near Caboolture, our works generally span throughout the Moreton Bay (North Brisbane) and Sunshine Coast regions. You will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects ranging from general hire earthmoving to civil (sub-division) projects and everything in-between.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate excavators and posi track machines to complete a variety of earthmoving tasks

Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment

Collaborate with the team and our customers to complete projects on time and to the required standard

Adhere to all relevant safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as an Excavator / Posi Track Combo Operator in the construction/earthmoving industry

Attention to detail

Strong understanding of construction processes and ability (or developing ability) to read site plans

Flexibility to work on a casual basis and adapt to changing project requirements

When the project requires, a willingness to get your hands dirty and undertake general labouring tasks

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider crew and our customers

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols

Role Requirements

Machine Tickets (Excavator/Bobcat/Skid Steer/Posi Track)

Current driver's licence (Preferably Heavy Rigid (HR Open - Road Ranger); Minimum Medium Rigid (MR) with a willingness to upgrade to HR in the near future)

Construction White Card (White Card)

Minimum 2 years' Recent Experience
