Senior Frontend Software Engineer - 100% WFH

Location: Adelaide (Must be Adelaide-based)

Emanate Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, eGrowcery, for an experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent employment basis.

About eGrowceryeGrowcery (www.egrowcery.com), founded in 2014, is a leading eCommerce SaaS provider serving 100+ supermarket franchises in the United States. Our platform integrates backend databases with modern CRM, eCommerce websites, and mobile apps, offering a seamless online grocery shopping experience. The technology & development arm of the business is located in Adelaide, where the development team is expanding to support continued growth in online grocery demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure code quality through best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented principles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team decision-making.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the frontend code of the customizable eCommerce platform.
• Work with modern JavaScript frameworks to build scalable and responsive applications.
• Collaborate with other frontend and backend engineers to implement a high-quality UI inline with each customers requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• At least 3 years of experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, NodeJ.S Ember, Vue, or Angular.
• Proven experience in UI design and implementation.
• Good understanding of object-oriented architecture and coding patterns.

Bonus Skills (Highly Desirable)

• Ember JS & Vue JS
• Familiarity with Agile principles and practices.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Expo.
• Graphic design experience with Photoshop/Illustrator (or similar tools).
