GreenSpaces Horticultural Services is a dynamic and expanding company that has a vacancy for the role of Operations Manager. In order to allow a smooth transition the new OM will be trained by the existing OM over several months.

(Because of continued expansion, the current OM is transitioning to a new position within GreenSpaces).

The Role

Based in Tingalpa, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the maintenance and soft scape teams.

Working closely with the management & administration team to ensure we are delivering our promises to our clients.

Strive to achieve a quality results while maximising efficiencies.

Interact and communicate professionally with clients to build strong relationships.

Scheduling of crews and forecasting future workflows.

Allocation of personnel & resources across both maintenance and soft scape teams.

Assist with the recruitment of field staff.

Conducting regular site checks and reporting – providing feedback to clients and staff.

Overseeing and asset management of machinery and equipment.

Inducting new employees electronically.

Scheduling of vehicle and machinery maintenance.

Ensure we are always meeting WH&S commitments, including co-ordinating staff inductions onto client’s sites, to make certain compliance rules are being met.

Holder of Horticulture Certificate III or higher.

Operational experience and willingness to get their hands dirty if the need arises.

Good rapport builder with clients.

This is a full-time salaried position from end of probationary period.
