An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager has become available working within a sought-after government department! With a high rate and contract length with potential to extend!

Your Role:

Your role as the Project Manager you will collaborate with teams in the Digital Delivery, Analytics and Insights division of the department to support the delivery of a prioritised set of enhancements to the web-based planning tool in the department's portal.

Your Duties:

• You will manage and coordinate the implementation of projects that support organisational objectives and the enterprise-level transformational change
• You will manage and oversee all aspects of the project cycle, including developing project plans, identifying and coordinating resources, managing budgets and meeting reporting requirements
• You will develop and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met
• You will develop and monitor all aspects of ICT project implementation
• You will prepare a suite of project management documents, including project planning documentation, risk registers and project status reports and dashboards

Your Desired Skills and Experience:

• High level project management, analytical and time management skills and the ability to coordinate, plan and prioritise activities
• Knowledge of information management principles, with the ability to apply Departmental policies and procedures
• Knowledge and experience in Pega is desirable
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence/similar is desirable
• Knowledge and experience using project management tools (ideally Sharepoint and MS Project).
