About the role:

As an Insurance Administrator in our Head Office, you will be at the frontline of inbound customer enquiries from customers all over the state. You will be responsible for handling a variety of enquiries, ensuring timely support is provided while delivering a high standard of professionalism and outstanding customer service.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will but include but not be limited to:

Handling insurance claims, liaising with insurance companies, and ensuring accurate cost reporting for transport and storage.

Monitoring and managing email communications.

Overseeing transport scheduling, ensuring vehicles are organised, and liaising with dispatch operators for smooth transportation operations.

Responding to customer inquiries, providing assistance in person or by phone, and ensuring timely and professional service.

Accurate recording, filing, and maintaining of data; ensuring confidentiality and security of documentation.

Providing administrative assistance to ensure efficient office operations and supporting various departments as needed.

Working as part of a team to share best practices, improve administrative processes, and contribute to operational effectiveness.

About you:

To be a successful applicant for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

Experience in the insurance industry and/or administration

Possess outstanding communication, both verbally and written

A positive and energetic approach to your work

Intermediate computer knowledge

The ability to work in a face paced team environment

Effective problem-solving skills

Possess efficient time management skills

A desire to learn and take on feedback

The ability to work a rotating roster, including some weekend work
