Our client has a rare opportunity in the Procurement & Supply department for a highly diligent and experienced Sourcing & Contracts Specialist to join their corporate office in Subiaco. This role offers the chance to play a key part in the end-to-end sourcing and contract management process, from RFx drafting and issuance to contract formation and post-award management. If you are a contract management expert with a proven ability to drive cost savings, optimise procurement processes, and provide strategic guidance, we would love to have you on board.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the full sourcing and contract lifecycle, including RFx drafting and issuance, clarifications, commercial evaluations, negotiations, award, and contract formation.

Develop and implement savings plans that drive tangible cost reductions and operational benefits

Provide expert contract advice and guidance to internal stakeholders and end users

Prepare and review all contractual documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Provide post-award contract management services, supporting stakeholders from award through to contract closeout or practical completion

Drive the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for goods and services contracts

Negotiate and manage complex contractual and commercial arrangements with service providers and suppliers

Report directly to the Contracts Manager, providing strategic focus to procurement activities, ensuring alignment with goals around cost optimization, quality, and supplier performance

Travel to site as required on an ad-hoc basis.

Required experience & skills:

Extensive experience in a similar contract specialist or procurement role, ideally within the mining industry

Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for both goods and services contracts

Proven expertise in negotiating, developing, and managing contractual and commercial arrangements with service providers and suppliers

Strong understanding of contract formation and post-award management, ensuring compliance and value delivery

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
