MDI Group are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join us on a full-time basis in the mechanical and automated gate industry and sun shading - Sure Shade external venetian blinds - providing expert advice and guidance to customers.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Follow external company leads, including cold calling and meeting builders
• Service sales leads in the field and enquiries in-house
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
• Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Maintain and create accurate records and shop drawings.

Experience & attributes:

• Sales experience, preferably in automation or related industries
• Technical knowledge of automated gates and doors systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Customer-centric approach and strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or trade backgrounds preferred.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions.
• Diligent and detail-oriented
• Fantastic communication skills and able to build rapport with clients.
