Payroll System Specialist
$850-$950 per day plus Super
Initial 6 month contract
Are you an experienced professional with hands-on experience in Ascender Payroll upgrades? We are seeking a Payroll Systems Specialist who has successfully worked on Ascender Payroll Upgrade Projects to join our client in Perth, WA. If you have expertise in data administration, integration management, cloud migrations, and payroll operations within Ascender, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
In this role, you will be hands on in driving an Ascender Payroll upgrade project to completion, ensuring smooth transitions, system optimisation, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to oversee the upgrade process, data integration, cloud migrations, and payroll operations, making sure everything runs seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ascender Payroll Upgrade: Lead and support the implementation of Ascender Payroll upgrades, ensuring all processes are aligned with business goals and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Data Administration: Manage and validate payroll data during the upgrade, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all systems.
- Integration Management: Oversee the integration of Ascender Payroll with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.
- Cloud Migrations: Manage the migration of payroll data to cloud-based platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth transition during the upgrade process.
- Payroll Operations: Provide operational support for payroll processing, ensuring payroll is accurate.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate comprehensive payroll reports, track KPIs, and analyse data to improve payroll processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates on project status.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in Ascender Payroll upgrades is a must.
- Strong background in data administration, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of payroll and HR data.
- Hands-on experience with integration management, connecting payroll systems with other enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of payroll operations, including compliance, reporting, and pay processing.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insightful reports.
- Excellent project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
