some of Melbourne's premium residential and commercial developments offering top-notch

concierge and security services; maintenance of essential (life safety) services and non-essential

services including waste management plans, car park maintenance, gym and pool maintenance;

and commercial cleaning, that allow buildings and precincts to operate effectively.

Focused Facilities Management based in North Melbourne is looking to employ a Project

Engineer – Civil (Building Services) to join their team

Salary $75000 + Superannuation

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

1. Engineers Australia Accredited Degree in civil engineering and skills assessed.

2. A minimum of 3 year of experience in project design and management

Duties & Responsibilities

● Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the execution of building services

projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.

● Design and Development: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to design

and develop building services systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing

(MEP) systems.

● Site Inspections and Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress,

identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and

company standards.

● Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documents, including designs,

specifications, and reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

● Stakeholder Management: Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, including

clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project

deliverables meet expectations.

● Budgeting and Cost Control: Establish and manage project budgets, track expenses, and

implement cost-control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.

● Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with building services

projects, ensuring compliance with company risk management policies and procedures.

● Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure building

services projects meet company standards, industry regulations, and client expectations.

● Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to

ensure effective project delivery and knowledge sharing.

● Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and

new technologies to maintain professional competence and contribute to the company's

technical expertise.
