Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 with salary ranging from $110,266 to $ 122,058 + super and annual leave loading

About the role

We are excited to announce that we have multiple temporary and ongoing openings for Policy Officers and Project Officers CL 7/8 positions in the Curriculum Directorate.

We welcome individuals who are motivated to collaborate with a dynamic team and drive impactful results.

From this recruitment process, a recruitment pool will be created to fill upcoming temporary and ongoing Policy and Project Officers CL 7/8 positions across the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing directorate.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and attributes:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making

Collaborative mindset with a track record of working effectively in teams

Adaptable and open to new ideas and processes in a fast-paced environment

Key Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.

Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
