The Organisation:
We are working with a small and unique Federal Government Department that uses TechOne as their finance system.

The Role:
This is an APS4 level finance officer role that will be offered as labour hire contract for a period of 3 months initially. You must be an Australian Citizen and hold or be willing to obtain a baseline security clearance.

The role is varied in nature and has duties spread across the entire spectrum of financial operations including:

• Processing AP
• Processing AR
• Banking and associated reconciliations
• Expense re-imbursements
• Monthly reconciliations

They have a small team of staff at the APS4 level that are involved in all aspects of financial processing. They cross-skill in order to cope with peaks and troughs in workload and your focus in the role will change in line with the needs of the team and approaching deadlines. You will focus on AP/AR initially but may also support other functions.

There is the potential for extension and they may also advertise the role permanently in the future.

Your Skills and Experience:
You must be able to demonstrate previous financial processing experience from an APS3/4/5 role. The role has a wide variety of tasks and you must be able to demonstrate capability across most of these operations.

TechOne experience is highly desirable although they will consider candidates that have had exposure on other large FMIS.

The role requires a Baseline security clearance.
