About the role

Harcourts Signature is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join our team in Rosny Park, Tasmania. As a Property Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our residential property portfolio, ensuring efficient and effective tenancy management to meet the needs of our valued clients. This is a full-time position offering a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to work for a leading real estate agency in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the entire rental cycle, from marketing and leasing properties to managing ongoing tenancies

Conducting property inspections, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and addressing tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely manner

Maximising rental returns and occupancy rates through strategic marketing and tenant selection

Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and maintaining accurate records and reporting

Fostering strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and tradespeople to deliver exceptional customer service

Assisting with the development and implementation of agency policies and procedures

Mentoring and supporting junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) in residential property management, preferably in the Tasmanian market

Thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Proficient in using property management software and technology

A customer-centric approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service

A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to the team's success
