About the role

One of Sydney's largest banks are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with skills in Cisco R+S, VxLAN and Network Automation to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a Sydney based role requiring 2-3 days working from the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to network transformation projects such as traffic and routing migrations
  • Design and implementation of network changes
  • Provide expert level technical services across high performance network infrastructure
  • Ensure all solution designs meet Network standards
  • Collaboration with Internal and External stakeholders

Skills and experience

  • Expert knowledge of Cisco R+S - BGP, OSPF, Nexus, etc
  • Technical experience with VxLAN EVPN
  • Previous Network automation experience - Python
  • Understanding of Network Orchestration Platforms
  • Network Security Skills - Firewalls, Load balancers (nice to have)
  • AWS/Azure Cloud Networking
