About Us

Fern Bay Motel are currently seeking casual Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team. Our motel caters to a wide range of guests. Hours vary but on an average 15-20 hours per week, with the potential to gain more hours.

Task & Responsibilities

Cleaning of guests rooms as per schedule

Cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors

Vacuuming of rooms

Making beds to the required standard

Dusting and cleaning of furniture and mirrors

Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities

Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes

Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly

Disposal of all waste

Report any maintenance required

Qualifications & Experience

Cleaning experience is preferable but not essential

A good eye for detail, be self-motivated and be able to work in a team, as well as working on your own

Must be friendly, with great customer service and communication skills

Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster - shifts between 08:30am - 2pm. Yes we pay penalty rates.

About You

We are seeking someone who has a can-do attitude, great communication and customer service skills. We require someone who has great attention to detail and able to retain our high standards in a busy and physically demanding position. Prior cleaning experience is preferable but not essential, as training will be provided.
