Due to the retirement of our long term cremator at our Greenbank crematorium, we are looking for a fit go-getter to continue this role. You will be required to learn how to use our specialized individual animal cremators, do basic weekly repairs and maintenance, along with cleaning of all equipment. This role involves lifting and moving of deceased pets with dignity, preparing them for cremation, clearing and preparing ashes for return to owners. All training will be given, but an eye for detail and following procedures is absolutely essential. Ability to work within a high temperature environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks effectively. You will be assisting drivers with the unloading of pets from vehicles and following strict procedures of documenting arrivals into mortuaries. Good computer skills are essential as this is part of our tracking procedures. You will be trained in the use of ash processors and the required skills of tracking all pets in our care.
