Overview

This position leads current contract management and new funding opportunities in Australia and the Pacific. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and a thorough understanding of Australian immigration issues, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about making a difference in the field of international affairs.

Key duties and responsibilities

Contract management: Day-to-day overall contract management of a national program

Development and expansion: Lead the identification and development of funding opportunities in identified regions.

Capability growth: Enhance internal capabilities through knowledge development and sharing. This includes capacity building, such as operational troubleshooting, quality enhancement, and case management oversight.

Thought leadership: Provide thought leadership on migration issues, contributing to both internal and external dialogue.

Contribute to initiative development: Contribute to the development of new initiatives, ensuring innovative and effective responses to migration challenges.

Key skills and attributes

Demonstrated high-level experience working on Australian Government programs

Demonstrated knowledge of Australian and global migration programs

Demonstrated experience for strategic thinking in contract management roles

Demonstrated ability to lead discussions with Australian Government agencies

Experience managing project budgets and cash-flow
