About the role

Launching Place Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner to join our highly skilled and friendly team. As a General Practitioner at our well-established practice, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to the local community. This is a full-time position or a Part time based in our modern medical Centre in Launching Place, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality, patient-centred medical care, including consultations, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions

Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with patients, coordinating their ongoing care and managing chronic health issues

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing appropriate medications

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists and allied health providers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care

Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with professional and legal requirements

Participating in practice meetings, continuing medical education, and quality improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

General Registration with AHPRA is essential . Both Fellows and Non Fellows of RACGP are accepted and welcome to apply .Non fellows on FSP/ or on MDRAP programs are also all welcome to apply.

Strong clinical skills, including expertise in general medicine, chronic disease management, and preventive healthcare

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic patient-centered care

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with medical advancements

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant healthcare technologies
