About Our Client

Our client is a leader in delivering high-quality marine and industrial solutions. They are committed to excellence in administration, operations, and workplace safety. This is an exciting opportunity to join their SA Operations team as an Administrative Assistant supporting the daily functions of the business.

About the Role

The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the SA Operations team. This position requires excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative and data entry tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry: Accurately input payroll and job reporting data into Reckon/QuickBooks.

Travel & Event Coordination: Manage bookings for staff travel and company events.

HR & Security Administration: Support HR processes, including record-keeping and security compliance.

Document Control: Maintain and organise important company documents.

Purchase Order Processing: Gather quotes, raise purchase orders within authority levels, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Logistics Coordination: Organise package deliveries and logistics movements.

Reception Duties: Manage incoming calls, messages, and visitor records.

Compliance & Quality Control: Identify and report non-conformance issues.

Skills and Experience Required

Experience using Reckon/QuickBooks for accounting and data entry.

Previous experience in payroll administration and employee time recording.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Access.

Highly organised with excellent time management skills.

Detail-oriented with strong data entry accuracy.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle customer enquiries and reception duties professionally.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
