Senior Telecommunications Engineer - Perth

About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of telecommunications systems. You'll work closely with design, construction, and control systems teams, ensuring high-quality execution of telecom projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee telecom infrastructure projects, including RF systems, networks, and communication devices.
• Develop and review telecom designs, reports, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Manage construction tasks related to telecommunications and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and cost assessments.
• Assist with tenders, contract negotiations (RFP/RFQ), and presales technical support.
• Ensure compliance with Australian health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Electronics, or related field.
• Extensive experience in wireless and fixed telecommunications systems design and implementation.
• Strong background in RF infrastructure, including towers, buildings, and technology integration.
• Knowledge of Telco standards, RF engineering principles, and product design compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and coordinating internal staff and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and/or Primavera 6.
