Position: Senior Safety Advisor
Company: Principal/Head Contractor
Project: $mulit-billion infrastructure project
Location: FIFO from Adelaide
Salary: $210-230k TFR

• Opportunity to work for a Tier 1 contractor on a major infrastructure project
• Site Based roles, camp accommodation
• 3+ years work left

Responsibilities of the Senior Safety Advisor :

• Lead team of Safety Advisors
• Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
• Ensure legislation is adhered to
• Provide training & advise to team members and subcontractors
• Conduct reviews and risk analysis
• Manage and develop relationships with employees and stakeholders
• Incident investigation and reporting

Relevant Experience required:

• Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
• 4+ years in a WHS role within in the construction industry
• Previous experience working for a head contractor
• Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
• Experience working major projects >$500m
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
• Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills
