About the role

We are seeking a full-time Trade Counter Sales / Office all rounder to join our team at our Coopers Plains location for immediate start . In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our trade & retail customers, assisting them with product selection, order processing and general enquiries. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the office team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing

Manage the trade counter, greeting customers and assisting them with product selection, pricing and order processing

Provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations to customers on landscaping & building supplies and materials

Process sales transactions, invoicing, purchase ordering, quoting, handle cash and card payments, and maintain accurate sales records

Provide administrative support to the office team, including data entry, filing, and general office tasks

Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing trade counter and store

Contribute to the overall success of the company by identifying opportunities for improvement and assisting with special projects as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably in the landscaping or hardware industry (training will be provided)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Proficient in using office software, such as Retail Manager

Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

A team player with a positive energetic attitude and a willingness to learn

An understanding of or interest in landscaping & building products and materials
