About the role
We are looking for an Accounts payable assistant who can support and maintain the company’s payment's function. The position will suit a candidate with strong commercial acumen who is passionate about both numbers and the underlying operation of the business.
A dedicated, problem-solving mind who enjoys a challenge and seeing improvements come to fruition would thrive in this role.
Core duties include:
Full end-to-end accounts payable process
Handle accounts payable queries and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Take the full responsible to reconcile supplier accounts and the preparation of payments (both scheduled and ad hoc).
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Daily reconciliation of bank statements.
Advanced duties include:
Assist with month end reporting.
Create Ad-hoc analysis to help drive decision making in the business.
Be proactive with trouble shooting and problem solving. Identify issues and formulate ways to solve them.
Work closely with the rest of the business to identify ways to streamline processes and reduce risk
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.
XERO experience highly beneficial
High attention to detail and desire to learn.
1~2 years working experience.
