Cafe Woodworks is a vibrant & busy 7 day a week cafe established in 2001. It has traded succcessfully for over 20 years. The Cafe is part of the larger Carrington Inn Group.

The cafe is located in beautiful Bungendore NSW, 30 minute drive from Canberra, 3 hours south of Sydney and 2 hours to the coast.

Cafe woodworks is looking to hire a Cafe Supervisor to assist in the management of the Cafe. The right candidate will have the relevant experience as well as the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our valued customers. Reporting to the Venue manager you will become part of the management team.

This is a hands on role for someone looking to further themselves in the industry.

Position Description

Assist in managing daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth operation and excellent customer service, coffee making and table service will be required of you.

Managing all aspects of coffee making for the venue.

Overseeing and coordinating the FOH & BOH staff

Developing and implementing innovative strategies for service improvement, sales growth, and profitability

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Inventory management, ordering supplies, and liaising with suppliers

Position Requirements

Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry

Sound to strong barista experience is essential

NSW RSA, ability to hold a approved managers licence

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Passionate about food, coffee, and creating a positive customer experience every time
